It seems I am replying to a posting in 2005. Don't know how this works.

I would like to ask how to configure the Miditzer together with my Technics GA3?

Can't get it to work.

There is no doubt your organ will work with Miditzer. This informaton has been given over and over on this forum.

First you need to learn how to view and understand the simple basics of MIDI messages. From this point you will easily see what messages your organ is producing and what settings you need to adjust in Miditzer.

If you search this forum on Technics, you will find many posts relating to setting them up.

If you search MIDI-OX you will find a useful tool to view the otherwise invisable MIDI messages you need to learn about.

If you search on "Simple MIDI for Virtual Organ" you will find detailed information on how to interperet MIDI messages in this context.

I apologise I am responding from an Android Pad and am unable to provide pasted links to the informtion I am referring to.

I have several keyboards connected to play the MidiTzer.
They all work super.
I got a KORG SP100 MIDI piano that will not play.

Well I located the connection.

I figured the keyboard may possibly send only to the channel 1, and I have it always set on the "settings" screen (at the little top left yellow MidiTzer "M" button) as suggested by Jim to "solo = channel 3."

I re-set the input selection that was set to SOLO on channel 3 to 1 and now it recognizes the signal.

I have several Workstation M-61 keyboards that always boot up to channel 1; they are dumb MIDI keyboards, but do have a display window.

This KORG 88-key MIDI manual does not have a visible display, but I thought about that, so re-set my MidiTzer settings for the solo manual to channel 1 instead of 3, and it worketh! Yeah!

I did not change channel 1 of the GREAT manual to something else.
So the GREAT still plays from the Baldwin MIDI just the same as before.

The Baldwin MIDI output still plays into MidiTzer GREAT on channel 1 and so does this KORG piano keyboard
(However, the Baldwin plays all its signals into SOUNDCARD 1 and the KORG plays into SOUNDCARD 2)

BALDWIN MIDI OUT from organ console:
Soundcard 1 input:
GREAT - Channel 1
Accomp - Channel 2
PEDAL - Channel 4
AUX - Channel 1

KORG MIDI OUT from 88-key piano
Soundcard 2 input:
SOLO - channel 1

The MidiTzer is AWESOME!

P. S.
Now I will go to settings: MIDI OUTPUT (the little yellow "M") to see about altering the piano soundfont (synth 2, channel 12) for the piano channel to play thru the KORG piano input itself instead of into the current soundcard speaker amplifier.
This will enable a pianist to accompany from the baby grand piano as part of the MIDITZER panoply and free up another soundcard amp output to devote to another sf2 soundfont).

Glad you got things sorted out.

If you want to be sneaky, you might be able to find a way to enable and disable the Korg piano at the Korg end so you can play the piano without using a Miditzer stop. Of course that would be at the expense of not being able to control the piano with the combination action. Or use couplers. But you would you would gain a touch sensitive piano.

For the benefit of lurkers: The Miditzer uses the MIDI Channel and the MIDI Input Device to identify a keyboard. If you have individual keyboards, each on a different MIDI Input Device, they can all use MIDI Channel 1, which is convenient because a lot of MIDI keyboard always power up set to MIDI Channel 1.
