Jim Henry: I tried to post the .zip files of the Miditzer song files to the forum. They did not post. Is there a problem with posting zip files. I tried to post four .zip files and none posted. How best to post these for all the members to have if they want them?

Hello Jim Henry: I tried to post the .zip files of the songs to the forum for all to have. They did not post. Is it allowed to post .zip files to the forum in attachments to the subject? These files did show as attached in Preview and disappeared when Submit was pressed. How is the best way to post these song files so all members can have?

Hi Bob,

.zip are permitted as attachments. I just double checked everything I can think of and I can't see any reason why the .zip files shouldn't upload.

[[Splitting in two did not work and the corrupt upload has been deleted. See the five 260SP zip files below. Jim Henry]]

Hi Bob

I have just found your personal message, thank you. You can get my email address from my website address posted in THIS topic in the forum. I seldom write it as open text in order to avoid spam.

If you succeed in uploading the zips to the forum there is no need to send them separately to me. I have already downloaded and had a look at the 150, 160 and 216 zips. However the 260 zips are empty. Try splitting the files into zips with 10MB or less in each.

This was supposed to be a personal message in reply to your message. As far as I can tell it was not sent and is still in the "Out" box. I can see no way to send it (Personal Messages on forums never work very well) so here it is.

Good luck

David

Hello: Having trouble uploading the Miditzer 260SP song files .zip. Seems that my .zip file is too large. Will split that file into 5 segments Will try to upload .zip files one at a time for Miditzer users. See my post on Fri Oct 4 2019

Hello: Was my error why I could not post the 260SP .zip files. Should have made the large file into more small files. I was able to download the all the files that I posted and now they are available to all the Miditzer members if they want them. Thanks for all the help. The Computer Midtizers have been great to have. Thanks Jim Henry for them. But time moves on and we have the Miditzers for our past and future enjoyment. I plan to keep mine and listen to the music for a long while.
