Keep email address up-to-date!

Post by Jim Henry » Thu Nov 05, 2015 3:12 pm

There may be a migration of the Forum that will require you to use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset your password. This requires having a valid email address in your User Profile. Please be sure your email address is up-to-date.

Select "Profile" from the drop down menu in the upper right, next to your name.

Select "Edit profile" inside the square brackets. This is roughly in the center of the page.

Select "Edit account settings" from the menu on the left side of the page.

Change your email address and click "Submit" if you need to update your email address.

Hello,
I don't know where I can post... Jim Henry, could you please move this message where it should appear ? Thank you.

I've seen 2 keyboards to sell on ebay :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pipe-Organ-Keyb ... 1934893772?
As you can hear when you read me, I'm french, and the seller thatguyfred1 only sends in the USA. So I would need to contact him, and that's impossible on ebay.
Does anybody knows him ? Cherry Hill, New Jersey...

Have a nice day,
E

Hi E,

This probably should go in "Building a Console" but I'll leave it here for the time being.

As you can see from the shipping cost of US$ 85, shipping something big and heavy like organ keyboards, gets expensive. Shipping from the US to France would be far more than the value of the keyboards. They are probably overpriced at US$ 145 too.

I don't know what you have in mind, but for most people getting a set of pipe organ keyboards would NOT be a good move.

And it is far better to find something close to home to keep shipping costs in check. Once you start looking, you probably will be surprised at what is available, maybe even free if you pick it up. At this point, I am turning down really nice stuff, like complete consoles in good condition, because I don't have room for it.

I have received the following email and wondered if it was fair dinkum or just a phishing expedition:

Brian, I'm leaving your email up in case it helps someone else sort out that unintended email.
