I do not understand the relationship of the buttons shown in 'Setting a combination on a piston' tutorial when applying it to the new 216 display. For example what happened to the 'SET' button? Has it been renamed or is it gone?

Sorry, I was looking for it close to the pistons. I will blame the low res monitor (10 inches) and poor eyesight.

Hi Jim. I like the idea of the video tutorial, but I can't locate the Miditzer User's Guide where it is supposed to reside. Google takes me to the Miditzer Startup Guide which does not cover this subject. On another point, I really do prefer printed text to keep beside me for reference. is there anywhere I can download any on this subject of setting combinations?

Hi Greg,

My general philosophy on Miditzer documentation is that there isn't any to encourage experimentation and exploration. Also real Wurlitzer theatre pipe organs didn't come with any user documentation for the organist, many of whom had only ever played a church organ if they had played an organ at all. But there are some things where I relent because they are things you need to know to get going or because the likelihood of anyone figuring it out correctly is slim. The Miditzer combination action, which does NOT resemble the combination action of an original Wurlitzer in most respects, is the poster child for that second case. The video tutorials were my best shot at trying to explain the combination action in a reasonable length of time. You may notice that they are quite old and slightly out of date because there were 100 memory levels at that time and there are now 10. If you want to write documentation, I'll be happy to answer questions and review what you write, if you want.
