Do you have any comments on this as I suspect the new version I have just download will not work
any better in this respect than the old version. If this menu cannot be made to work under Wine then it
is a waste of time trying to use Miditzer on Linux or iMac.

I have not used the Miditzer under Wine/Linux either but will the keyboard shortcut alt+spacebar open that menu?

Thanks for the tip John - answers below:

Linux Puppy CD version - No but it does open with the mouse (I still do not know why).

Linux Puppy Slacko-6.3.0 - Yes a very useful discovery because I can now test it properly.

iMac - No the "M" menu does not display at all and Alt-Space has no effect on anything.
This is a great pity because eplayWin32 functions 100% correctly and the Miditzer
functions well enough to use (but inputs cannot be set up and pause leaves ciphers).

Whoever has the source code to Miditzer 216 needs to get their thinking caps on
an adjust it so it shows a normal Windows menu!! This done it will be useable on
iMac and Linux (There may be latency problems but if so a native version of fluid synth
will probably make it acceptable).

Hi Graham,
Thanks for the new version of Puppy, Love that Wallpaper. It must have taken you quite some time to draw that picture. It took me 2 downloads to get it right. The first one quit at about 15 Mgb. I did not notice that until I had wasted another disk. I paid more attention on the next download.

will the keyboard shortcut alt+spacebar open that [the "M"] menu?
Alt + spacebar will not open the "M" menu on Windows but Alt + Shift + spacebar will! If anyone reads this after so many years of silence and can report on the ability to open the "M" menu with Alt + Shift + spacebar in any of the non-Windows installations, it would be appreciated.

Ben Model reports that command + shift + spacebar opens the M menu running the Miditzer on a Mac using Crossover.

Seems all the links to the .iso for Puppy Linux/MidiTzer are gone. Anyone know of one that still exists? I have the latest for the Windows version .

Thanks.

Graham Wykes provided me with a copy of the ISO image file for his "525" version of Puppy with the Miditzer 216. It will be an available download on the forthcoming updated Miditzer website. For now, I have placed a download link on the same page as the Windows 216 download. You can access the Puppy download on the site where I am assembling the updated website:
